Maison & Momma & Daddy {Family Portraits Tacoma WA}

I love it when the little ones bring their parents to the studio. Like Maison for example, she brought her momma Nicki and daddy scott! Maison is so clever. She was looking for some beautiful family portraits and some priceless holiday cards. Check these out!

The Cat’s Out of the Bag! {Pet Photography Tacoma WA}

I couldn’t share these photos before the holidays because some of my clients used these photos for their holiday cards! But, yes, Studio 57 was full of canine. Some were nice (Joey) and some were naughty (Chimi!) but all had a good time! Donations were donated to the local animal shelter!

The studio has been so busy lately that I haven’t taken the time to post some super fun sessions. Take this one for example! Little Miss June Bug and her momma Ashley and daddy Nick stopped by for some fun pics before the holidays. June was such an angel!

Now, don’t get me wrong, her parents are cuties too!

But, back to June bug, isn’t she adorable?!

And, I think she knows it!! Look at those little toes!

And those gorgeous eyes, they’re part momma, part daddy!

Sweet Sweet Summer {Senior Portrait Photographer Auburn Tacoma}

I have been terribly neglectful of my blog posts lately so I thought I would share some super gorgeous summer images with you. The beautiful lighting comes from the setting sun and the soft coloration comes from a Florabella Action, ‘Pandora’.

I just came across these photos that I took of my daughter and niece back in July. It was one of those beautiful summer evenings that we long for this time of year. How I miss it!

My niece Ellie is so beautiful and such a sweetheart! I just love her!

And my oldest daughter Hannah, so sweet – sometimes! But I love her anyway!!

This image makes my heart sing! The girls, the lighting, flare – aaaahhhh!

We decided to bring some balloons, just for the fun of it.

Just Can’t believe how fast these girls have grown up. Seems like just yesterday they were fighting over baby dolls . . .

Aly’s Senior Portraits! {Orting Senior Portrait Photographer}

Aly is a senior this year and I was so excited to photograph her. I have know Aly and her parents and grandparents since before Aly was born. She has grown up to be such a beauty. She has a million dollar smile and a personality just as sweet! Enjoy a few selections from her shoot.

I had to include this photo because it made me laugh so hard when I remembered why Aly was laughing so hard. I promised not to tell!

Linda & Perry’s Engagement {Tacoma Photographer}

What could be better than taking pictures of two people in love?! That’s what I did on Saturday with Linda and Perry. They are so cute together and every time I hear their love story, it gives me goose bumps!

They waited a long time to find each other, but their love is as sweet as any could be!

We started their shoot at my studio in Tacoma before heading out to the beach.

See what I mean, how cute are they!!?

It’s time to hit the waterfront. Such a beautiful day and we had the water all to ourselves.

Cecilia’s Senior Pics! {Senior Portraits Auburn, Bonney Lake, Sumner}

Cecilia is a senior at Auburn Riverside. We selected a nice park in Lakewood for her senior portraits. She really liked the grassy fields and the old buildings at Fort Steilacoom Park.

Cecilia has really beautiful hair and skin that anyone would die for. Isn’t she gorgeous?!

I love to throw in some black and white photos. I think they are so pretty.

The aged affect can be really pretty too. Can’t decide which is my fav.

As the evening came on, the colors became really golden and pretty!

I really like how nicely her dress goes with the grass. I didn’t know she was wearing this outfit when I threw that chair in my trunk. I love it when it all comes together!

As you can see, we got some really nice images and had a little fun at the same time!

Cecilia brought her boyfriend Saul. He was so nice and helpful. He even shooed creatures out of the grass for us! Thanks for a fun day!!

Kristin’s Senior Portraits {photographer Kent, Auburn, Bonney Lake}

I had the pleasure of meeting Kristin and her family for the first time to do her senior portraits. Kristin came to me by a recommendation from a client last year. Kristin is a senior and a cheerleader at Kentridge High School. She was so fun and easy to photograph. She was so laid back in a calm and quiet way. I don’t even think she was a bit nervous about having her pictures taken!

We found a lovely shady park in Tacoma for this shoot.

This tree was a perfect place to sit, like it was made for us!

And the pond was so pretty. Kristin has beautiful hair!

I’m glad Kristin brought her letterman’s jacket. Such a great memory from high school!

So pretty! Kristin’s a natural in front of the camera.

Kristin’s eyes are amazing! They are literally three different colors and so sparkly. Click on this image to see a larger view and you’ll see what I mean!

From the park we skipped over to my studio for a clothing change. No one can resist the charm of the brick walls at my studio so we took a few shots there before heading out to the waterfront.

It was evening by the time we got to the waterfront. The light was the perfect golden color. We don’t get this often in the Pacific Northwest so we really felt lucky!

Again, those eyes! I think this is my fav of the day. Everything about it speaks to me!

I felt so lucky to be a part of this special time with Kristin and her parents. They lounged on the park bench while Kristin and I created these images. I saw them looking at her and I couldn’t help but think that they were probably reminiscing about how quickly time has passed and how fast she has grown up. The evening was one to be remembered with the fun, sunshine and a beautiful Pacific Northwest evening. sigghhhhhh.

Okay, one more just for the fun of it. Thanks to Kristin and her family for selecting me to create and preserve this memory for you!! It was an honor!
